No improvement? That implies we are staying level. We are getting worse every week and it will not stop until Mehringer, Terry and Kai are gone.

He's already mafe a ton of money now he needs to get on a decent Pro team.

I disagree with that narrative. Dan didn't even do any interviews to replace Tosh and Stien, he just promoted. Dilly, Tosh and Stien are all now HC's. Klemm went to the Pats and now he is Bama's new OL coach. Carlos Locklyn moved to the Buckeyes. Oregon can draw good coaches.

We just scored 10 points against the 92nd ranked defense. This offense is worse every week. Scoring zero against Michigan and Ohio State is probable. Mehringer will not survive the season.

UGH

Exactly. Go lower in the draft, but end up with a better team. Sounds good to me.

Final offense stats: 314 - Illinois - 15 first downs 426 - Oregon - 21 first downs Receiving: Oregon: 27 catches, 246 yds, from 7 different receivers - including the last "garbage time" drive Illinois: 12 catches, 89 yds, from 6 receivers Rushing: Oregon: 180 Illinois: 225 - which included a 75-yd TD run total plays of offense: Oregon: 73 Illinois: 58 Third downs: Oregon: 4 of 15 Illinois: 8 of 16

I'm sorry, he has to go now and Lanning has to reassure the players that he will find someone with a better idea then, meh, or he will lose a ton of players to the portal. Hey here's an idea Kelly is back in town next weekend maybe make him an offer that he can't refuse to come back after the season is over. Then tell the players so that the exodus isn'tas big as I think it will be. Cristobal's offense was better than what we are watching now. I'm not even going to the rest of the games, this offense is not worth a 1,000 mile round trip.

Punt on 1st down from now on out!!!!

...Has to be hard on Phil You-know-who.

When you run the Lambo into the wall turn 1, Lanning just brushes you off, hands you the keys and says "keep trying Scooter".

I'm having a hard time thinking of a worse Oregon offense and that includes the one run by Burmeister when Herbert was injured. No second half points?! You've got to be kidding me. This has become a throw away season at this point, MAKE CHANGES NOW!!!

It's hard to recruit to Oregon compared to the other blue bloods when the money is equal. So you are forced to pick coaches that can recruit over coaches that can coach, and here we are.

Dante needs to go pro and the perfect scenario is unfolding, as sure his draft stock has dropped which could mean he's picked up by a team wth a decent line.

If Dante does not return next week relatively healthy, I hate to say it, but I think this team has a decent chance of going 1-4 down the stretch. And I have got to think that, at this point, Dante redshirting is a reasonable option for him. At this point, I don't even know if the portal is off limits for him.

Bro.. im with you. Just have to wait because Im sure any true candidate is winning somewhere and in the mix. You cant talk to them. But yall see when Coach Meh lined everyone up on one side and put Moore in motion to run right into tackles? I wanted to brick my tv

The defense is elite. But even the D started to play with less intensity down the stretch. I get it if they became a little discouraged.

I agree that we HAVE to protect the edges better but having a QB that cant hit a 5 yard pass to a WIDE OPEN receiver well you're not going to win games.

I've been saying that once again, I willingly, eyes wide open, drank the kool-aid. Heck... I pretty much guzzled it. I am Charlie Brown, and this program is Lucy holding the football. I bite every time.

Good call. But with any kind of offense, the D has played well enough to win the last three games.

It's Meh' responsibility to coach this offense. There is no improvement week to week. He has done nothing to make this offense better. He needs to have walking papers in hand now. Get him a flight out of O'Hare and call him an Uber

I don't mind Lanning's schtick but he's clearly an average coach and maybe subpar CEO given the money and facilities. The utter lack of fight by our Ducks shows strong indications of talented dudes who are front runners and this kind never do well when punched in the mouth. So I'm fine with Lanning but I think any number of coaches would do as good or better with the same NIL and facilities.

The defense has played well enough to win the last three games. As to coaching, you can't make chicken salad out of chicken spit. 🤮 I should have turned the game off in the 1st Q when Johnson strolled out of bounds instead of putting his head down and trying to make a 1st down. Have to cut Raiola and find an athletic QB who can make up for bad OL play.
