  2. 2026 is the year of absolute football proclamations and subsequent revisions. 😆 Deserved or not, IF we went 9-3, I think our odds of getting in are almost a lock. Is a random 9-3 SEC team more likely to get the nod over a random 9-3 non-SEC team? Absolutely. We however, are not a random team. The Oregon brand going 7-2 in conference with a hurt QB and ending with a 5 game win streak (from the conference that won the last 3 playoffs) isn’t a shoe in, but pretty damn close this particular year imo. To be clear, I wouldn't bet that we will win out, no way. Hopefully I’m wrong on that and we can test if I’m wrong on my winning out theory.
  3. Let's discuss the game before and during, here in this thread with fellow intense Oregon fans. Being critical of coaching decisions and player performance is FINE, as that is what we do in a forum. But do not get personal towards the players, coaches, or fellow OBD forum members. But being angry, joyous,....all of it is normal and fine, so enjoy the game!

  5. OSU 27 - 13 1 1 151 I simply don't have confidence in Raiola
  6. Tyrone Riley IV, a 6'6 junior guard suffered a serious hand injury in the Ducks first game of the season. His injury will be evaluated in four weeks. Oregon has a new coach, new players but can't shake the injury bug. Is it a curse, omen or spell? Ducks basketball can't seem to catch a break. (pun intended) In his only game, he played 33 minutes and had 17 points along with 2 rebounds and 3 assists. He will definitely be missed. Looking ahead at the schedule, Oregon plays three games at the Players Era Festival in Las Vegas against quality opponents and starts the B1G ten season against UCLA and USC. Besides senior guard Fred Payne, the depth and quality of guards on the roster drops considerably.

  9. Tough one. I can imagine it going either way. I see two proud but embarrassed, evenly matched teams fighting for survival. McClellan could be the difference maker! Ducks 28-24 2 TO 2 Sacks 311 ypg
  10. I remember in the spring before Musgrave started his first game hearing that the Oregon coaches wondered if the Ducks would win even one game. :)

  13. Injury bug has carried over to this year already. Oregon MBB: Ducks G Tyrone Riley IV to miss time with hand injury
  14. Bill Musgrave... Now there's a wonderful name from the past. What a great kid and such a fine QB. As you may recall, he started as a redshirt freshman the season following Chris Miller getting drafted by the Atlanta falcons. I remember his first game was at Colorado and he shocked everybody and led us to a win. His second game was at Ohio State, and he nearly led us to a big upset win. We have truly had some amazing quarterbacks over the decades.
  15. Every year I tell myself to just sip the Kool-aid, but I don't. I just end up gulping that stuff down like it's AG-1. Give me another 54 years of being a fan and I might actually learn to sip. Yeah... who am I kidding. GO DUCKS!
  16. I picked the opposing team last week, and I was wrong -- so I'm sticking with it. GO DUCKS! Ohio State 30-20 1 1 220

  18. Of course I hope I'm very wrong in my prediction: --Which team wins: Ohio State --Score: 24-20 --How many turnovers created by Oregon? 2 --How many sacks of the opponent by Oregon? 3 --How many passing yards by Oregon? 220
  19. Oregon wins! 31-27 1 TO 2 sacks 275 yards passing
  20. They say the same things about Texas. That is for sure. Both the SEC and Big10 are much better conferences for bringing in so much new competition. I can almost see the Big12 going to the Big 10 AND the ACC going to the SEC and making two super conferences.
  21. Ohio St is not the same team as recent past. Some of their good players moved on. Jeramiah can't do it all by himself. Ohio St now has to work for it just like everyone else. Not just show up. Still a very sensible prediction.
  22. Ducks 31-30 2 4 300 Very unrealistic prediction at this point... but this is what they should be able to do IF Raiola is good, new OC is good and the whole team plays like they are capable of playing
  23. This year is different. EVERYBODY is losing. Miami got a little lucky and UCLA hasn't played anybody yet. I predict some or at least one bottom feeder gets in.
