Indeed on the free throws. Very entertaining game that makes me realize how much I miss the old PAC. Different level of being into it against these guys. We had to make the move to the B1G, but now that we’ve completed a season of hoops and football, I’m not a fan of it at all. Okay season in hoops, nothing wrong with making the tourney and winning a game.

Yep, I think the tiny stature starts to show up when it’s day 2 and they start getting bounced around by NBA sized guards on loose balls. Might be more navigable in the big tourney without back to back games.

Yep, every loose ball on their shots, particularly missed free throws, seems like they had at least 3 offensive boards on a missed free throw.

Tiny guards can be manageable during the overall regular season, but not in big boy time. Our guards are soooo small.

I’ll say again, for me it’s who we’re playing and the fact that I can watch on TV instead of driving in from Portland. I had a free ticket for any game this year as many times as I wanted, and went zero times. Combine all that with a generally sagging interest in college hoops until March and you get the attendance we have. I grew up in Mac watching Greg Trapp from behind the basket against UCLA because if I didn’t go, it was radio only. An old rickety Mac against Northwestern on a Thursday night, driving in from PDX, wouldn't sweeten the deal for me 😆

Yikes! Thanks for compiling this. IMO this isn’t an arena issue as much as we are a football school playing a bunch of teams nobody cares about. I get why we’re in the B1G and support the move given the current landscape, but I don’t think it will ever feel right.

lol - imo, it’s only a trap if you think it’s an easy game and it’s not. Our home court advantage has been questionable this year and I personally wouldn’t be shocked if we lost. Curious to see what the crowd is like.

I can’t imagine they didn’t take us seriously in the first game. By what standard? Did they party the night before? Is that the same reason they lost to Michigan? We beat them in their place prior to the game at Autzen, it was the national game of the week, Chip was returning to Eugene with a contender, etc. If they didn’t take that game seriously they need to up the meds. All my opinion of course and with all due respect.

I think UW had 17 turnovers give or take and averages closer to 6, was all about the D. I really don’t recall seeing Angel from about the 4th quarter mark on. If Bamba was the scoring threat he was supposed to be we’d be rounding into a very dangerous tournament team. BTW - why is this the only version of basketball without quarters?
