  1. Amen Duck-Brother! The site will change the redirect when the sale is made on Monday or Tuesday to https://discussobd.com/ In the meantime it comes back to forum.fishduck.com until the sale is made. As long as people write it down and then when they get nothing from their bookmark or favorites (after the sale) they place https://discussobd.com/ into their URL address area--they will then find the forum. Takes seven seconds...
  2. USC wins 2-1 in eleven innings. We gave up a solo homer, and then had our chances with bases loaded and one out...but their reliever got it done
  3. 1-1 after ten innings. Oregon's Tanner Bradley put them down 1-2-3 again, but the superb reliever for USC did the same to us.
  4. The game is tied 1-1 after nine innings. Tanner Bradley came in again for a routine 1-2-3 inning for Our Beloved Ducks! Naulivou Lauaki absolutely blasted a pitch WAY over the RF wall to tie it up! To extra innings we go!
  5. 1-0 USC after eight innings. Tanner Bradley comes in to pitch for Our Beloved Ducks, and had bases loaded against him, but got out of it with a big strikeout. Good gosh, the Trojan relievers are as good as the starter...damn.
  6. 1-0 USC after seven innings. Oregon's Toby Twist blew them away in another 1-2-3 inning. And the Ducks strand two on base again. Gotta break through!
  7. 1-0 USC after six innings. Oregon reliever Toby Twist took over on the hill, and dispensed of the batters 1-2-3. Their pitcher is pretty amazing, and has a dozen strikeouts!
  8. 1-0 USC after five innings. Cal Scolari generated a grounder, and the double-play was sweet to watch from the infielders.
  9. No. We will not have a new website; it will be the same forum with a different web address. www.discussobd.com No re-registering.
  10. 1-0 USC after four innings. This is quite a pitching exhibition from both teams...
  11. 1-0 USC after three innings. Oregon's Cal Scolari put them down 1-2-3... But the Ducks stranded two on base again!
  12. 1-0 USC after two innings. Oregon's Cal Scolari gave up two hits and they got a run off of it. Mason Edwards, the Trojan pitcher throws really nasty stuff. Geez.
  13. 0-0 after one inning. In the pregame interview, Coach Waz stated that he wanted Will Sanford to remain on a seven-day rest schedule, so Cal Scolari is tonight's starter. He was sick about three weeks ago, and has gradually worked his way back. In this first inning--he allowed a walk at full-count, but struck out two with a fastball up to 97 mph, with a curve that drops to 81 mph. Looks sharp to start! On offense...the Ducks stranded two on base!
  14. I am surprised, but quite relieved at still having the articles. As I wrote above...Monday or Tuesday....
  15. I think it is pretty simple; Our Beloved Ducks win the series and have a high-probability chance of hosting a NCAA Baseball Regional. Anything less makes them a No. 2 Seed who travels. The Trojans has an excellent pitching staff--regardless of who they trot out to the hill. Most would say theirs is slightly better than ours, and I agree with that, but we have the home field which is HUGE with so much on the line for both teams. Oregon's usual Friday starter, Will Sanford, (the games were moved up to a Thursday-Saturday schedule this week) has had some rough outings lately, and we need him at his best tonight. Where There is a Will... ...There is a Way?
  16. As discussed in the red pinned post below...this forum has to change it's web address soon, and it appears it will be happening on either Monday or Tuesday next week. When you come to this forum and there is a blank page or an "Error 404" message...go up in the URL address area in the left corner, or start a new tab and put in the web address of discussobd.com and you will find this forum there! Why are we doing this? Please read the other red pinned post below this one... Good News! I know many lament the end of the article site of FishDuck.com (being sold), but it appears that the articles will not die or be with a new owner, but will also be moved to discussobd.com because the new owner is not interested in publishing articles about Oregon football, but instead wants to use it's SEO ranking (7,000 articles over 14 years) to launch a new product or service. (Or who knows what?) So the writers are going to be delighted to learn that the WordPress Publishing platform they are accustomed to creating articles on will be moved to discussobd.com and thus all the pictures from prior articles are coming over as well as all 7,000 articles! The articles will be visible, just no longer at FishDuck.com but at discussobd.com instead. As one who has written over 700 articles--I was quite relieved to learn that this morning! Of course nothing is certain until it actually happens, but I wanted to give you all a heads-up as to the plans and what appears to be occurring. So in the end....we will still have Oregon Football articles written and published on pages that are on the web, and this forum will continue as it--only both will be at discussobd.com when the transition/sale happens early next week. It is a Logical Process for Ducks...
  17. I don't know if you can see the full article right here, but there are some juicy quotes and a couple I can share below. “Notre Dame,” an industry source told On3, “is the guy that walks in the house, opens the fridge, eats all the food, then (screws) the wife, kicks the dog, doesn’t pay the mortgage and walks out without any skin in the game.” At this week’s ACC spring meetings at the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island, “pathetic,” “100 percent arrogance” and “crybabies” were just a few of the responses from the league’s athletic directors and coaches that spoke with On3 about Notre Dame. “There’s a very widespread perception that we’re all getting used,” an ACC athletic director told On3. “And we’re sick of it. If an ACC team did that, it would have been fined. It’s a bad situation creating bad outcomes for organizations that need each other.” Added another ACC AD: “It seems reasonable to have a consequence if the conference membership agreed to something then an individual institution made a decision counter to that decision.” “I’m still waiting,” said an ACC coach, glancing down at his watch, “to see how much their fine is going to be.” (For skipping a post-season bowl game) Notre Dame was not fined.
  18. Great information again, Jon. Boy, our Schedule-Maven has killed the offseason! So many games this fall to watch on a Saturday, and you're right--Domers vs. Canes will be a dandy...
  19. Kiffin enjoys being..."the coach that fans love to hate." And he creates new ones with every place he....leaves.
  20. Our own Jon Joseph has another dandy article about a team who is a 'Natty contender, and a fan-favorite opposing coach! Is the Schedule for Cristobal’s Miami ‘Playoff Friendly?'
  21. Good gosh....Jon Joseph gives us superb information in this article! Thanks so much, as again--I learn quite a bit from our own...."Schedule Maven" in South Carolina. BTW...I've confirmed that we CAN and WILL have articles published like the one above in this forum. They won't be on FishDuck.com, in the future, but they will be connected instead to this forum so we can publish articles like before...although the writers will be doing it independent of yours-truly. Another EPIC Game in the Coliseum?
  22. Spring Football has sprung, and Spring games have been completed from North to South and Coast-to-Coast. On April 25th, Oregon was the Big Ten’s last team to play its Spring Game, then Ducking into off-season workouts before the start of Fall practice. The Sporting News (TSN) Preseason Composite Top 25 Poll has eight Big Ten teams ranked in the top 25, and Illinois is ranked No. 30 among other teams receiving votes. TSN is used for preseason rankings. TSN’s B1G rankings: No. 1 Ohio State, No. 4 Indiana, No. 5 Oregon, No. 13 USC, No. 14 Michigan, No. 20 Penn State, No. 21 Iowa, No. 22 Washington, and No. 30 Illinois. 2026 – Handicapping a B1G Race for the Conference Title Oregon plays at USC this fall...
  23. Cameron Wagner was a Rivals 4-Star, with offers from, (besides Notre Dame and Wisconsin) of Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, Oklahoma, Iowa and Illinois. So Sorry, Coach Bielema....I know you Love the Offensive Line! (Not really sorry)
  24. Yes, it is the off-season...when poorly researched articles with silly premises flourish, written by duplicitous writers.
  25. Coach Boles! So great to have you post again on the Our Beloved Ducks forum, and I did not notice that before, but yep--you nailed it. The mesh really pulled the LBs and Safeties inside, and gave Stewart that much more open space. Nice catch by you! I am going to go through the Spring Game again for observations, and would love any more that you have. (And do read the top pinned post in red, so you can find us when we move the forum to a new web address shortly.)
