  1. Just my opinion. Not saying it is right or wrong. I don't think your assesment is wrong either. There is risk involved for sure. I would love to see this offense with a running Bo Nix. They would be unstoppable. I would be laughing all the way to the cfp.
  2. Maybe he does. Mostly I think he had a "Mariø developed these players" problem. But that seems to be behind him now so no worries
  3. I hope he runs more. I hope he pulls the ball and trucks defenders and stays healthy doing it. I love that part of his game. He is good at it.
  4. I hope both those teams play super crappy to a 2-2 draw. Beat the hell out of each other and limp home knowing they suck. I hope each QB throws 3 picks apiece and gets sacked a bunch. Get benched and spend the 4th quarter watching through a towel draped over their heads to hide the shame. Then I hope their girlfriends break up with them, their cars run out of gas, a family of mice move into their basements and they get a UTI.
  5. Here is a narrative shift by espn from the disrespect CGD has shown Lanning and the Ducks. ESPN updates FPI Top 25 rankings after crazy Week 9 of college football - On3 WWW.ON3.COM ESPN has updated its Football Power Index (FPI) Top 25 after a loaded Week 9 Saturday of... Looks like espn is jumping on the band wagon.
  6. The Utes are hamstrung with injury. After pondering some things said over the past several hours, I am not so sure the Ducks are who I think I see they are. I am going to have to temper my jubilation and put more weight into some things that just might be factors in why the Utes were thrashed so convincingly. I am a fan boy homer for sure. But someone much wiser than me once said "you are never as good as you think you are, and never as bad as you think you were". Or something to that effect. The season will play out so I guess we will find out who this team is in due time.
  7. Do you think this is something that has been going on for a long time, even in down years? I could be wrong but it seems Oregon always gets teams best shots. It seems that other teams have the Ducks circled on the calendar year in and year out. Other pac12 teams sure seem to like beating the Ducks.
  8. I agree Fusky made a few great plays that day. They put more points on the board. And they won the game. Many have argued it came down to coaching decisions on a couple plays. That could be true also. Maybe my thinking is flawed but the Ducks looked like the better team. The stat sheet seems to back up what I saw that day. But the stat that matters is points scored so you are right on this.
  9. IMO, Ducks are the most battle tested team in the Pac, perhaps the nation. Texas Tech was a tough road trip. 2nd game of the season if you count PSU, I don't, at night... in Lubbock! Husky stadium was on fire. That atmosphere was crazy. Best team didn't win that day, it happens. Sucks! Rice-Eccles? Utes have won 29/39 and 18 straight coming in. Notoriously difficult place for the road team. Ducks went in and broke Utah on the first drive. If Ducks win out they will be the most battle tested team in the cfp. Ducks have toughness and grit. I wouldn't be surprised if Ducks get a rematch with both UW and UGA. Lets get some redemption on both in 23.
  10. 4 of 6 games played in the Pac took till late in the game before they were decided. Thats some great entertainment.
  11. Beavs aren't looking like much of a threat. Az taking it to them late.
  12. I think it's that Oregon ruins teams. After playing the Ducks teams seem to be damaged after that. Husky keeps winning but they are not the same team. Oregon did that imo.
  13. Anyone know why DJU is absent? I missed something, did he get hurt?
  14. Beavs having trouble down in the desert. Az breaking a lot of tackles. Wildcats up 10-7
  15. As of today, the entire college football world is on notice. The CFP cannot ignore Oregon. Ducks are a legit national title contender and Bo Nix is exactly how a Heisman winner is defined. This Oregon team is different. You could see it v. Fusky and we saw it today. If Oregon grabs another 1% every week, Ducks just might get a title shot. They definitely look like the best team in the country, atleast today they did. What a great time to be a Duck
  16. IDK but Ducks defensive rankings should take a good jump forward.
  17. Stanford taking it to Fusky. Uw hasn't been the same since they played the Ducks.
  18. It's a beautiful thing when all 11 are in sinc with each other. When everyone does their job no one player has to be a hero. Thats when a defense becomes elite. This is the first time under Lanning that the defense has played so complete 1 through 11. String performances together like this and Ducks will be taged elite by the end of the season
  19. Nix was in total control today. He displayed complete ownership of the Duck offense. If that isn't Heisman, I don't really know what is.
  20. Wilcox... take the dam points!
  21. Right! It is Cal and USuC though
  22. The most shocking part is the 6. Wow... well done.
  23. For sure. They are barely ranked now.
  24. Lanning and Tosh are probably on the phone soon.
  25. Ducks held Utes to 241 yards of total Offense. I was suspect of Utahs O but never saw the domination Ducks layed on them today. Denied them the TD. Utes never threatened the goal line. Got inside the redzone but it never felt like they had a chance to cross the goal line.
