  1. So, what was up with the 2 point conversion attempt in the first quarter after our long one yard drive for a TD? Is there any general consensus on what in the world he was thinking?
  2. Kiffin might be available pretty soon.
  3. 5 TOs? We had 7 TOs. We might have won if we only had 5.
  4. If it's not Dante on Saturday, I think we definitely should go with the local kid from Sheldon High School. After all, Sheldon High has been rather good to the Ducks throughout the years, including a couple fairly-decent QBs by the names of Chris Miller & Justin Herbert. Maybe Brock is just a slightly later bloomer.
  5. I'd suggest the Husker fans try traveling 3 time zones and playing a body-clock 9 AM game. Then get back to us, followed by them shutting their yaps.
  6. This is not remotely meant to be sarcastic, but the poor kid was so far off, is there a chance he was ill and didn't say anything? I think the likelihood of that is quite low, but he was just miles and miles so far off of his game that I feel like the question is not all that unreasonable... Because we all know that the kid can flat out play ball. How he led the Ducks in such difficult circumstances against USC, and played, proved that.
  7. There's a rather good reason it looks like that ;-)
  8. Thanks for the @ Oregon correction. If Dante is back and 80+% healthy, I think we win that game. After seeing our D hold what had been a rather high powered UCLA offense to 17 points, I'm rather confident that given Nebraska does not have a big passing game, our Defense will do their part again this week.
  9. I've got an old, classic, Prefontaine shirt that I think I'll pull out instead. I don't think I'll get any abuse wearing that.
  10. Next week at Nebraska should be interesting. The Huskers came rather close to beating a very good Indiana team today.
  11. "Does this game change you as a fan?" No... but it does remind me of shades of the 70s & 80s Duck football program.
  12. If only our program had more money, better facilities, more media, and more flash... I'm sure we'd play much better.
  13. 1983 - Toilet Bowl I sat through that entire debacle.
  14. It not for UCLA's #20 blocking that last pass, it would have been picked off in the end zone by UCLA. Thank you, #20.
  15. I'm kind of impressed with that one drive we had where we scored the TD. That 1 yard scoring drive was seriously impressive.
  16. Out of kindness and mercy, I think I'm going to recommend that you don't watch this obscene debacle.
  17. Perhaps Riola has pneumonia.
  18. My prediction of Oregon 44-37 might have been 'just a bit outside.'
  19. Oh well... I still think that we'll win at least a few more games this year. So, that's nice.
  20. UW -3 net yards rushing on the night might be my favorite part. I mean, other than the final score, of course.
  21. Thanks, Mike. I really appreciate you guys have a much better understanding of the details of this game than I do, and who are willing to share it. I think you did a great job here and I certainly learned a lot from it.
  22. USC 2026 = Penn St 2025
  23. IMHO, it would be more than reasonable, and miles more realistic, to remove the PSU scrimmage numbers from your stats, and then re-analyze.
  24. My concern about Riley is his eyesight... Given how he must be going blind as to have totally missed Stephens cheap shot on Dante. Or, for the old guys like me out there, he's the reincarnation of Sergeant Schultz: "I saw nothing." Either way, I gotta give that one a thumps down. But, Charles, you definitely had me thinking on that one.
