  1. The Trojans looked very beatable today. Hopefully that team shows up next Saturday.
  2. Raiola is also much more mobile than Dante Moore, which would be a big help with this year's offensive line. By no means am I hoping for it, but It would be very interesting to see what Coach Lanning would do, if the Ducks were down big at halftime against USC.
  3. I don’t understand how it’s possible that Oregon could field such a bad offensive line. Even when we were recruiting 2 and 3 star offensive lineman, I don’t recall them ever being this atrocious. Some of the film breakdowns out there are just flat out embarrassing. What were the coaches seeing in the spring and fall ? Were they incorrectly attributing it to the returning defensive lineman? Why didn’t Oregon pay top dollar to get some top portal OL transfers, given the unit was the biggest question mark heading into the season? When do we start to play the inexperience but more physically talented players?
  4. It’s ridiculous that anyone is calling for Coach Lanning’s head. He deserves the benefit of the doubt and we should see how the season plays out. If the team goes into a Penn State nosedive, then it’s fair for people to demand answers. However, the team could turn around a win a national championship (albeit unlikely given what we’ve seen on the gridiron the first two weeks).
  5. It’s not the loss that bothered me the most, it’s how we lost. The real question for the coaches and players are how they are going to bounce back? The margin of error is gone.
  6. Kenyon Barner and Johnathan Stewart pointed out, on a recent podcast, that Coach Lanning’s Oregon teams have a history of slow starts (e.g., Rose Bowl game against Ohio State, the first playoff game last year, the Indiana game). You cannot continue to spot your opponent points right out of the gate and then play catch up. Why don’t we script the opening plays better on offense? Are we being too conservative on defense trying to feel out how the opposing offense is going to attack us? Are the players not read mentally for the first snap?
  7. I’m out. Going to find something more enjoyable to do with my Saturday. Enjoy the game. I hope the Ducks find someway to turn it around in the second half and squeak out another W.
  8. This team stinks. The team is not ready to play and is playing nowhere near their talent level. That is on the coaches. Both coordinators are in way over their heads. Coach Lanning should have gone out and found the best available coordinators like Coach Day does at Ohio State. Right now, it looks like his decision squandered a chance at a national championship. If the team doesn’t improve rapidly (unlikely), we are going to get destroyed by USC.
  9. ESPN.comBroncos QB Bo Nix fractures ankle, out for rest of playoffsBroncos quarterback Bo Nix will miss the remainder of the playoffs after fracturing his ankle in overtime of Saturday's 33-30 win over the Buffalo Bills, Payton said.
  10. https://www.denverpost.com/2026/01/17/broncos-bo-nix-season-ending-ankle-injury/ Dang. My heart is broken for him after he balled out all season and got the #1 seed.
  11. It’s not the number of wins. It’s how the seasons end and how Oregon performs on the biggest stages time and time again.
  12. Sadly, I might be done. I haven’t liked the direction of college football for awhile now and this might be the final straw for me. I need a long break and then we’ll see but, as of right now, I’m not sure Oregon football is worth the time and constant disappointment any longer.
  13. I’m really starting to doubt this logic… Like someone said Cig can come and win a national championship at the loosingest program in NCAA history in his second season with a bunch of 2 and 3 star recruits but Oregon has been investing and paying its dues for 2 decades without anything to show for it.
  14. As someone else mentioned, I would be tempted to get one of the young QBs in the game to see what they can do.
  15. This is embarrassing. I don’t know if it’s good or bad news that Dante Moore will be back next year…
  16. Looks like we are going to have to win in a high scoring game and I don’t trust our offense to do so.
  17. It doesn’t appear that the Texas Tech game defense showed up…
  18. Jay Harris looking good so far. Be hilarious if he won game MVP…
  19. Our very own Oregon legend, Anthony Newman on the pre game show. https://www.audacy.com/stations/1051thefan?action=AUTOPLAY_FULL&actionContentId=101-896
  20. I hear you but it’ll be painful to watch Mario (Miami) or Cig (Indiana) host the championship trophy instead of Lanning (Oregon). Oregon has been building for this moment longer.
