These players, these coaches need to get off their collective rear-ends and step up or get rid of them. 5 games played and they stunk it up in three of them.
Sunday at 12:03 AM4 days No. A word to the wise. You are coming close to 'venting' if not already there. You are right. The players are not kids. They are also not real student athletes. They are highly paid professionals. And most of them performed very well. You are also correct that the team played very far below their talent level. It is hard to accept such good players putting such a poor product on the field. Especially after a bye week. But in perspective, does ANY team ever win with such bad QB play? They were about 2 feet away from over time.I will stake my reputation as a fan when I say this: If Kenny Dillingham was still their OC, they would have easily won this game.

Sunday at 03:25 AM3 days No. We lost 5 fumbles today! 5 fumbles! That doesn’t mean there isn’t massive opportunity for improvement, but no team is going to win a Top 25 matchup giving away 5 fumbles on top of 2 interceptions. It’s close to impossible to go unbeaten in this day and age, but UCLA has a great shot of going 11-1 or 12-0. If Boise State wins tonight, our FBS opponents are a combined 20-3 on the year. It’s disappointing, but I don’t think we’re as bad as it looks. I hope Dylan Raiola recovers mentally from this. Not sure what happened out there. Many uncatchable throws for sure, but there was no one open at all today. At least what we were shown on TV.UCLA was flat out better prepared today and that’s a common theme.
Sunday at 04:07 AM3 days No. Tough loss today, and obviously not where any of us hoped this season would be headed. But maybe missing the playoffs gives Dan Lanning and this staff some time to really dig into the issues that have hurt this team and get them corrected. There’s still plenty to play for. Finish the season strong, get into a good bowl game and win it, then hopefully close things out with a strong recruiting haul and build some momentum going into next year.A couple losses don’t mean the entire season has to be a failure. Oregon can still have a good season, finish on a high note, and use this as an opportunity to get better. Go Ducks. 🦆
Sunday at 06:46 AM3 days No. If Dante is not going to return... Or until, I'd like to see Akili Smith play.He is big, strong arm and an athlete. I think if he d played second half maybe we win. He would have addedthe run element... I doubt we could have played worse or had more turnover had he played. I am not at all comfortable with Railoa for next yr for obvious reasons...

56 minutes ago56 min No. I was wrong on everything I thought the Ducks would be this year. It is not the first time that has happened in my long support of them. They are all still my Ducks, always will, be all of them as long as they are Ducks.I would imagine they will win this week-- probably 42-6

And yes, that brings expectations of return on investment.. But no, that does not magically make them older or more knowledgeable with money. The NBA and NFL have classes and resources to help the young newcomers deal with sudden wealth. I assume the college teams are now doing that as well but I don't know that.Regardless, they are very much kids. They just get paid a lot of money and have huge weight on their shoulders. That's a recipe for mixed results. Some will handle it well. Some will not. Hopefully the coaches are doing everything possible to help them navigate new wealth and pressure. But the fact that they're being paid a bunch of money doesn't mean they're ready to handle it. If anything it makes it more difficult for them to navigate, at least in terms of handling finances and dealing with internal motivations.
