Thursday at 01:40 AM2 days No. Regardless, OBD are going to roll Nebraska. You heard it here first.Honestly, I feel like this is a decisive game for OBD. They either wilt and the season goes off the rails like PSU last year, or they suck it up and start playing to potential. I'm betting on the latter. I'm not saying they win at OSU and make the playoffs, but I think they'll turn it around and it starts this week.Go Ducks!
Thursday at 01:43 AM2 days No. I can see them rising to the occasion and having a “get right” game. I’m not putting my eggs in that basket at the same time either. I’m hoping and optimistic that Lanning is humble enough to realize what he has let slip through the cracks. I can see him having serious accountability meetings with staff and players. I’m hoping they take it out on Nebraska!
Thursday at 02:32 PM1 day No. I’m a new guy here. My primary allegiance is to the Ducks but I have a masters from Boise State and live in Boise. I’ve also been very close to that program in the past and can be a source of pretty good information if anyone is ever interested. I’m still kind of testy about that Stephens hit on Dante. My vengeful self says he should have received a two game suspension for the hit and another additional game just because he’s a Trojan. The Nebraska game is scary. They played Indiana really tough and honestly I still don’t have a good feel for the Ducks this year. I see the Nebraska game as a game that will define the rest of the season. Win it and there’s a chance for a pretty good year. Lose it and maybe the wheels fall off. Dante’s being out again is really concerning. I thought Raiola was an excellent backup. But now? Not so sure. Can someone comfort me a bit?
Thursday at 03:15 PM1 day No. Sure….Matt Rhule has a habit of stepping on himself in games like this one. Nebraska should win…he usually tanks these types of games. Feel better? Did not think so.

Not sure we will go to the Civil War with that record. Incidentally, if the Beavs keep winning, they might make the playoff. Wouldn't that be something?!

Thursday at 06:58 PM1 day No. I'm reminded of Tua having back-to-back concussions. Another concussion will damage Dante's NFL Draft stock big time. He might not come back and if he does it will only be when he and his team feel they are past that quick 2nd concussion risk.

OSU has a decent shot at winning at Fresno and at Boise, and if this happens, taking the G6 PO spot.A remarkable turnaround under a guy who has never been a head coach, a QB transfer from Mercer, and a 3-star frosh WR who, to date, has put up better stats than Mr. Jeremiah Smith. Wazzu is floundering, but this OSU team would have finished in the top 3rd of the B12.Next season's Civil War game could be very interesting.
1 hour ago1 hr No. It's a fantastic story. I did not intend to suggest anything else. I hope they make it into the playoffs.Frankly, I'm beginning to wonder if we need to start focusing more on the three star player market. 😉 Edited 1 hour ago1 hr by Desert Duck

Especially at this point today, if I'm Dante, and I wasn't sure when I'd be back to full strength, and given that we're 7 weeks into the season, it would certainly would be a question on the table for me at this point.Seven weeks ago, who would have thought our team would be in the situation we are now.

I honestly believe we have seen Dante take his last snap in an Oregon uniform. I don’t think Dante or Dan will be willing to risk it considering how the OL is playing and now that the playoffs are essentially off the table.

There is no brain concussion reset button, so to speak. Following a concussion, the brain also becomes more susceptible to additional future concussions. There are reputable studies which show that people reporting three or more concussions had poorer cognitive performance which got progressively worse with each concussion.Concussions are also associated with a higher risk of lasting long term problems --- particularly for attention, memory, processing speed, and handling complex tasks. All items which are obviously rather critical for the QB.Hoping for the best for Dante.
