  2. I respectfully disagree. Bryce is bringing down an estimated $3 million a year in direct revenue sharing and NIL deals. In 2026, his QBR rating is 53.3, 77th in the nation. In six games, he's thrown 5 TD passes and 6 interceptions. Michigan is 16th in the Big Ten in Points Per Game. What kind of pay cut is he willing to take? Which coach on Oregon's staff could coach him up to perform like the nation's best QB recruit? Does he have what it takes to play QB in the Power 2? I think this would be a B1G and a costly gamble. In 2027, Oregon has to find and pay talented O-line players and replace four starters on the D-line. If a team can't run the ball in the Power 2, no QB will make much of a difference. In 2027, Oregon plays Iowa, Ohio State, and Penn State at home. And plays five B1G games on the road: Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, UCLA, and UW. Not the schedule you want for a QB to learn on the job.
  3. Hopefully the players like them as much as we do, and they play sharp!
  4. The play in the SEC in 2026 to date justifies Greg Sankey's decision to back a 24-team playoff. You never know which team will show up. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/page/gamedaykickoff102226/week-8-top-games-upsets-preview
  5. ESPN's FPI gives Oregon a 77% chance to win this game. https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/espn-fpi-predicts-illinois-vs-180919320.html
  6. It's reported that Stewarts DL is suspended for failure to show up in court for other tickets. Too much money, too little civic responsibility. Is he gone or will Dan use this as a learning experience. Santa Rosa types faster than me.
  7. According to the Register Guard, Evan Stewarts driving license was suspended for not showing up in traffic court a few times. I would post but it is behind a pay wall.
  8. *Ducks Win *27-13 *2 forced turnovers *3 sacks *224 passing yards
  9. Will these ten QBs, including Dylan Raiola, be up to the task on Saturday? SIBuying or Selling 10 High-Profile College Football Quarte...From Arch Manning’s alarming regression to Gunner Stockton’s costly meltdown, 10 quarterbacks face critical tests as the regular season enters final stretch.
  10. I watched last nights exhibition game vs Utah. I thought they showed some improvement since the Seattle game. They have some capable players, Jasper Johnson, Bol Bowen, Taj Ariza, Ty Riley IV, Aristode, Meadow can all score. Bowen looks like a pretty good rim protector, and Meadow can score through contact. I think if they can figure out how to play together they can have a decent season. Rebounding and ball security need to be a focus, but I like their athleticism. I'm cautiously optimistic.
  11. JJ, thank you for your weekly match ups. I know this must take some time to gather and present. Hoping that Michigan beats Indiana. Tacking a 2nd BIG loss on the Hoosiers is one of the dominoes that must fall to help keep the Ducks CFP long shot odds, alive. An Iowa loss would be helpful too! Go Ducks......

  13. Underwood has a ton of talent. I think it would be irresponsible to not do a deep dive into what that would look like. I fully expect Lanning to do exactly that. Anything less is malpractice. Gotta get the O line right priority one. But underwood in Eugene would be a huge addition. Just like Bo, DG and Moore. DR just went through the biggest learning moment of his career. He will come out the other side and work himself into a first round QB next year with Underwood waiting in the wings. Yea, I would slide Underwood into the model Oregon has created at the QB position. How could you not.
  14. I think NFL recruiters and talent evaluators are cognizant enough to understand that a subpar OL would result in reduced QB performance and isn't an indicator of bad talent. My guess is that Dante will be back once he's medically cleared and in shape.
  15. I don't hate that idea...not sure how he is as a teacher but he certainly has all the college and NFL experience for a solid educational foundation.
  16. The rumors that have some weight to them has Dante Moore playing at home against Northwestern, with the crowd behind him, to prepare for going to Columbus the next week. Not certain, but a strong rumor…
  17. That might hurt his NFL stock. It would make me question his actions and durability.
  18. Its going to be great. I believe 8 teams get a first round bye. Get rid of some worthless bowl games.
  19. Yahoo Sports takes on Week 8 games. https://sports.yahoo.com/college-football/article/week-8-college-football-viewers-guide-can-no-7-ole-miss-hand-no-19-texas-a-third-consecutive-loss-124955942.html
  20. Correct, but in the absence of the committee's first top 25 ranking, to be released on November 3rd, the attached article used the AP Poll rankings, as do similar articles, except for USA Today and affiliates that use the Coaches Poll rankings.
  21. A recent article in The Athletic focused on these eight teams not meeting preseason expectations because of disappointing run games: Clemson, Michigan, Oklahoma, Penn State, Texas, TCU, Washington, and Oregon. A few Oregon run game stats through Week 7 - Yards Per Carry - 4.11- 94th out of 138 FBS teams. Yards Per Carry Adjusted for Sacks - 4.6 - 53rd out of 68 Power 4 teams. Success Rate - Gains that keep a team on track to avoid 3rd and long - 46.6% - 36th in the P4. Stuff Rate - Plays that go for 0 or negative yardage - 16.6% - 43rd in the P4. Bad hires? Or bad evaluation of the existing talent on the roster? Or both? Bad evaluations lead to bad portal picking. Texas brought in O-line players from the portal who were going to fix the run game and give Manning more time to throw the ball. Hasn't happened. How much are Oregon's underperforming O-line players capable of being coached up? It's hard to win P4 games when the opponent doesn't need to focus on stopping the run game.
  22. The selection committee does not use the AP for their selection.
  23. Ducks! 41-13 2 Illini TOs 4 OBD Sacks 252 passing yds
  24. Agree. I think Moore has taken his last snap in an Oregon jersey. Just my opinion.
  25. Ducks in 24-14 2 2 245 This one is hard, I think Ill. is maybe a little better than their record and if the Ducks play with so little aggressiveness offensively again it could be a struggle.
  26. And to be honest (this coming from a definite not Alabama fan) they got screwed royally vs Georgia. They shouldn't be a two loss team.
  27. On this week's episode of Talkin' Ducks, Jordan Kent, Aaron Fentress, and Joey Harrington discuss whether Oregon can build momentum and run the table. Plus, the guys break down what to expect from Dylan Raiola with Dante Moore still sidelined and debate the pros and cons of a 24-team College Football Playoff.
