Oregon adds G Wei Lin back to roster for 2026-27 seasonThe Ducks added junior guard Wei Lin back to the roster on Wednesday, according to the team website, giving Oregon two returning contributors from last season. Lin came to Oregon last year after playing three seasons for the Nanjing Monkey Kings in China. He entered the transfer portal after the season and was pursued by some programs, including North Carolina, but never found a new home. “Everything changes," Altman said on Thursday. "We’ve never had somebody enter the portal and then come back. It’s kind of like you ask somebody for a divorce, and the divorce is in place. Agree. Zero incentive to play good teams in OOC right now. I would like to see the committee have a metric for SOS (NET or RPI like in hoops) and would have no issue with a 9-3 team getting in over a 10-2 or 11-1 team from the Power 2. However, until the committee takes that step, this is what we are stuck with. Unfortunately, the only thing that matters is number of losses.
