  1. I wonder if Riley's heated seat also has a cooling feature? (snicker)
  2. I really wish people would stop talking about the mythical Natty. Everyone talking about it all summer, we all knew it was going to jinx it. I don't know how many times I cringed. It should've been treated like the old days when we didn't speak of the Rose Bowl, for fear of jinxing ever getting back there. What team besides Ohio State could live up to all that hype?
  3. Starting DR against the Toejams, could throw them off a little...
  4. Was never really impressed with the bits and pieces I saw of him at Nebraska. He looked good last night. 11-11? I feel like I owe him an apology.
  5. That's a pretty cool "Brush with greatness!" Thanks for sharing.
  6. DR looked better than he ever did in Cornhusker land. The future at QB now looks promising. It would've been nice if the tv announcers would've mentioned that Josh Bidwell was a cancer survivor... And the performances of some of the frosh were spectacular!
  7. The announcers mentioned his uncle Derek Loville(one of my favorite past Ducks) playing NFL ball, but I didn't hear them mention the UO...
  8. Some people are saying that Coach has reached his ceiling. His record doesn't even seem to have as much value now, with some people. I'm pretty sure he lit a firecracker, and shoved it up their collective coal chutes, this week in practice...
  9. What I can't figure out is; There's always going to be dropped passes. But how is it possible for everyone to drop passes, in the same game???
  10. I haven't been this disappointed since the Indiana game in '04(?). You know the one. Five fumbles was it? I remember saying I wanted MB to resign, as we were leaving the stadium...
  11. The fact of the matter is that Our Beloved Ducks needed Boise State to play that well. It's all out in the open now, the things need to be worked on. Also the "national title talk" is now gone, and the jinx that comes with it. My hope is that they have a hard week of practice and are determined to make amends.
  12. The early start may be beneficial heat wise.
  13. They survived the hype. All summer long we knew it could be a trap game, which it was. And the Bleu Donks almost pulled it off. MM played his butt off. Probably helps both teams resumes in the end.
  14. I live by the Airport. The sun is out. Partly cloudy. The weather is looking good at 8:09 AM in Eugene!
  15. I'm excited about Evan Stewart(Last year's injury was such a disappointment), and really looking forward to seeing how Poncho and the boys hold down the Fort.
  16. Ducks 36 - Truck Driving School 14 2 tos 6 sacks 320 yp
  17. Like every year (for what, 20-25 years?), I expect them to win every game.
  18. Who among us cannot still see that on his first pass of the game, Boise State safety Ellis Powers launched a blatant, penalized helmet-to-chin late hit on Jeremiah Masoli? This single hit knocked Jeremiah Masoli out of the game with a mild concussion. I want blood. The truck driving school's fans like to talk a lot. They got way too much mileage out of that game. Jenty is gone. No Quarter.
  19. Who said "One game at a time" and "The only thing that matters is that you improve each week?" Brooks or Bellotti? I swear I'm not senile, but I'm not sure.
