Ducks win 45.25- 15.92 2 3 400 I have never won one of these so I went with scoring averages because clearly I have no clue. Defense giving up 15.92 ppg is ridiculous.

DJ would make it much easier for the Next Duck QB. He would be a sacrificial lamb as "the guy after Nix". Whoever replaces Nix is in for a rough ride. Ty Thompson should go in the Portal. Find a place he can ball out next year. I think Ty is going to be a Dude but Duck fans are already pretty brutal on Thompson. If Ty replaces Bo every little mistake he makes he will be shredded over. More so than a incoming TP guy or one of the freshman. These are just my opinions but I don't think Oregon is a good place for Ty even is he is a very good QB. Fair or not, TT would get killed by Oregons fan base.

Due to my legal expertise from watching an episode of Law and Order, plus my casual observations of the OJ trial, I will have to petition the court for a stay on voicing my opinion on these uncivil proceedings.

I don't think this is entirely true. I do agree that Lanning played a big part in the loss at Mont Lake. Keep in mind Lanning has coached 26 games in his career, DeBoer 115ish. But there were other factors involved. Last year Nix took a submarine, lead with the helmet, hit to his legs. Lanning had nothing to do with that, Debore... IDK. Yes Lanning played a roll in last years loss but its not all on Lanning. This year Ducks couldn't make a FG and Nix didn't execute on some 4th downs. Mostly the one that would have iced that game. That was on Nix. If Bo doesn't lock in on Franklin it's a first down and Ducks kneel out for the win. But this team, including Lanning seems to have gotten better from those mistakes. We will find out on Fri.

Who on here wouldnt love to see Bama or UGA head north in December to play UM or Ohio State? Or better yet, Wisconsin in a blizzard. Now that would be fun

I love the excitement. Feeling pretty relaxed about this game. I don't know who is going to win but I really like Oregons chances. I do know come kickoff I will be super jacked to the point I am vibrating. This is a great time to be a Duck.

"We need to Savor..." This gets brought up a ton here. I agree with the statement. But I think it's what we do here at OBDF by default. Participating actively on this or any forum is "savoring the moment" in my opinion. I work long hard grueling hours. There are two things I "savor" more than anything. Fall Saturdays and the time I get playing guitar. I cherish both equally. I want so much more out of this season, but to me, this season has already become a huge success. I have enjoyed every minute of it. Beat the Husky and the rest is gravy. Whatever happens after that is the cherry on top. I will be satisfied.

I think Head to head matters more, but I could be wrong.

Ohio State at 6 is a travesty. They should be 8 behind Bama IMO. What a joke. If FSU and Wash lose, do the Buckeyes backdoor their way into the CFP over B12 champ Texas? Madness!

I agree, I don't think the corners will be as stressed though. Looking at how Dorlus and especially Burch have played the last few games, the corners won't need to cover as long. I think Penix is in trouble this game. Pocket is going to get stressed with LB and safetys coming hard inside. I don't think Husky guards will hold up. Penix is going to get punished.

Doesn't help that Lewis cant hit a FG beyond 30 yds

Heard Florence was on crutches. 9.5 is too low. Penix won't make it to halftime before Ducks break the guy in two. The Duck defensive front is out for blood. No way this dude finishes the game. Duck D is going to finish what they started.

I think most Duck fans are also Dawg fans. Huge respect for UGA partly due to the Lanning hire. OBDF members, imo, are Dawg fans because of UGA OBDF members like you and SoGaDawg. Go Ducks! Go real Dawgs!

The irony is when Mariø left, Beavs fan piled on. Called Ducks stepping stone. "We got our guy for life" they said. Lol... have fun in the Big Sky Beavus. Losers.

The QB is not a threat this year either. Defenses know Bo isn't running it. Thats a major weapon thats no longer utilized.

My opinion was the husky loss was a good loss. I commented such within the day of that loss. It is still my opinion. Now that the season has played out, it is obvious just how valuable that loss was. Ducks have done nothing but whats necessary to avenge that loss. The lessons learned from losing to Husky would otherwise not been learnt. At this point, Ducks look like the Best team in the nation. My opinion is that would not be the case if Ducks would have won that game. Every player has gotten better. Individually and as a team. Most importantly, I can't emphasize this enough, Dan Lanning has gotten better. Ducks are something different, they are a special unit. That wouldn't have happened if the season played out differently imo.
