How the Passing Game of the Huskies Can Bite the Ducks
Washington has a potent offense. They’re scary this year and I’m sure they’re getting sick and tired of losing to the Ducks. They’ll be plenty motivated.

Lanning To Auburn Rumor?
Here’s a quote from Hugh Freeze. “I don’t know that Auburn wants me. I have no clue,” Freeze told 247Sports. “I know this: I have won everywhere I’ve been and my staff and kids have turned programs fast. It’s our culture that we instill. I know we do that and the proof is in the pudding.” Read into his response what you will, but he sounds like a guy who is looking to move up.

Miami: *Sigh*
This says it all about The U. Their fans hit harder than their defense.

Miami: *Sigh*
Let us all take a short break to remember that Mario was 3-0 against the Fuskies. Okay, now back to how much Miami sucks.

Chargers and Falcons Not On the Fox Feed?
It could be worse. You could live in the Panthers market. I have the NFL channel (it comes as part of the sports package I get solely for the PAC 12 channel) so I can catch glimpses of the Duck Bowl on their Gameday Live broadcast.

If There Was EVER a Year to Put 70 Points on the Huskies...
Not too mean, but I believe it’s bad karma unless it’s the backups doing the scoring in the 4th quarter. Chris Peterson lost a lot of respect for rubbing the Ducks beaks in the dirt. Most of us will be forever grateful to MC for never losing to them. Of course, he had his own motivation for his Fuskie hatred. How dare they try to share a national championship with his ‘90 Hurricanes team.

Autzen Stadium Sellouts: A Comparison
The next two games should sell out, but I expect to see a lot of purple in the stands next week and red the following week. I think the most embarrassing games were Tennessee in 2013 and Nebraska in 2017. Those were easily 30-35% visiting fans. Good thing they just came to Eugene to see their teams lose.

Bo Nix Getting Some Heisman Love
The two big front runners laid eggs yesterday, so Bo might move up a bit.

Oregon Football: Still Hung Up on Georgia Loss? Get Over It
I would not be the least bit surprised if the committee just bumped LSU and Ole Miss ahead of Oregon and USC and bumped us both back to 9 and 10. I think it could look like this. 1. UGA 2. Michigan 3. An Ohio college 4. Tennessee 5. LSU 6. Ole Miss (Bama needs a big win next week to make LSU’s win over them look even more spectacular). 7. Bama 8. TCU 9. Oregon 10. USC

How High Can Lanning's Ducks Fly?
After watching that UGA defense yesterday, I wouldn’t want to face them again. Oregon’s offense is really good, but so is Tennessee’s and they couldn’t muster a TD until garbage time. It’s not like they started sucking yesterday. They got the Dawg treatment. That’s the best open field tackling I’ve ever seen at the college level.

Miami: *Sigh*
Joe Brady wouldn’t improve that offense one bit. The OC and the scheme isn’t the problem down there.

Pure CFB Chaos… and I Love It.
This just means USC is back to being the darlings of the West Coast.

Game Day Thread of Other Games (Not Oregon) Nov 5 2022
Now Bama, Clemson and Notre Dame will be ranked ahead of the Ducks. Win by 39 and drop to 9th.

Game Day Thread of Other Games (Not Oregon) Nov 5 2022
Clemson is done. Out of the playoff. Thank goodness Notre Dame has 3 losses or the committee would try to put them in the Final 4. They still might.

Bama came out of the half looking good

Trey Benson is running well against his former head coach.

Tenn and UO vs Georgia
UGA is the class of the nation so far. Of course, things could change in a neutral field.

Isn't the Throat Slash Gesture Illegal in CFB?
Yes. I was there. It was the Zen bow that negated that sack and led to a TD for Arizona.

Mariota vs. Herbert
- Dan Lanning Rumors
Here’s how college football works now. If a team who isn’t supposed to be competing for championships starts competing for championships then those who think they should be competing for championships (but aren’t currently competing for championships) will spend buttloads of $$$ to poach their coach so that they can then…compete for championships. However, if the championship caliber teams who aren’t supposed to be competing for championships want to continue competing for championships then they must also spend buttloads of $$$ to keep their coach from getting poached by those who think that they should be competing for championships (but aren’t currently competing for championships).- This Week’s Other Games. Pick the Winner.
I know we have the contest for the Oregon vs. Colorado game, but I think it would be interesting to see what you all think about the other games of significance. I’ve only chosen 4 different games because they’re either significant to us as Duck fans or the national rankings. Here are the 4 match-ups with my picks. UGA vs. Tennessee - I have UGA. They’re at home and the Vols haven’t played a defense like theirs yet. LSU vs. Bama - The Tide wins big despite playing in BR. Saban will thoroughly out-coach Brian Kelly. Miami vs. FSU - Hard Rock will be filled with garnet and gold. However, MC will jump all over the Noles and have them right where he wants them……then blow it. Fuskies vs. Beavis - Fuskies haven’t lost at home. It’s going to stay that way after tomorrow night.- Hot Pursuit Of Dante Moore. Will He Flip?
I think if Dillingham stays then he’ll be a lock to stick with Oregon. If he gets hired away then Moore might be a little more open to suggestion.- Dan Lanning Rumors
Yella Wood is doing really well with the housing boom. Jimmy Rane has a lot of money to burn.- Dan Lanning Rumors
I know DL will likely not leave after this year, but he is being mentioned for the Auburn job more and more these past few days. Most recently, this morning on ESPNU Radio on SXM. Now, the hosts didn’t think he would leave, but they also thought it could be a way to get a good contract extension. It’s a typical ploy by agents to link their clients to jobs, so that they might get a better contract. One thing that was brought up was that WHEN he leaves it will be to a much bigger job like Bama or Clemson. Most experts believe that Oregon is not a destination school because of coaches pay and recruiting resources (less travel to recruit). I can’t say I disagree with them. However, if Oregon wants to be taken seriously then they need to start opening their checkbook to the tune of 8 figures per year. That’s nothing to these big time SEC schools. They know it’s required to stay competitive.- Ducks Week 10 Uniforms
They wore these in the PAC 12 championship game last year. They don’t bring back great memories. - Dan Lanning Rumors
