Part of me hopes were not. I don't think I could bear to watch us play a crap game like this in a bowl game.

Does Meh' get fired mid season. After this complete embarrassment of a game? How do you not fire him? I have no idea what Oregon football is other than next level bad. Regardless of the argument of the difficulty firing your OC mid season. I would tarmac that guy. I will take "what is bad football for $50 million Alex "

I said it after the OSU game, the goal is a winning season. This team is horrible, and Lanning has to make enormous changes in the off season, new schemes, new coaches, he has to blow it up.

Its just very poor coaching and scheme all around.

I really don’t want to be a downer… but I’m starting to wonder if this team will even be bowl eligible. Certainly not a decent bowl. This is really hard to watch.

It's a fine line between success and failure. You can't survive a horrible OL, OC and a defensive scheme that gives up the edges like ours does.

Season is over already, might as well fire Terry at least, you have Cavanaugh there.

I feel u.. but we have no options. Players hurt, suspended on the most critical side. Poor coaching but you basically would have to overhaul the whole thing. Cant do it mid season

Fire the OC, fire Terry, has to be done, pathetic. Mediocre team, if there was a way to take away NIL I would, no accountability on this team for horrible performance. We're going to get beat by a 3-3 Illinois team with a true freshman making his first start. That is completely unacceptable, and heads have to go NOW!

Inventiveness

This may be the best thing for the Ducks, Coaching sucked.

Thats game

Akili apparently isn’t better than three games of historically bad QB play??? I guess it is back to the portal next season.

Sad!

It is okay to vent. Goodness DR just missed a wide open receiver who was no more than 5 yards from him. This offense is hard to watch.

Illinois is terrible. We are worse. this is a six loss team. Yes I am venting!

Fail

After an 11-play opening drive with runs of 3, 11, 5, 8, then back-to-back runs of 1 and the 2-yard TD run. We were averaging 5 yards a pop and had set the tone with the OL at the LOS. Then we wasted our 2nd, 3rd and 4th drives with going pass heavy and getting behind the chains. We wasted our 5th drive by poor play calls as well. We were 2nd and 2 right at deep FG range, run the ball and get the first down, don't take the deep shot. Then we go big and congest the defense and miss an assignment, then miss a 52-yard FG. We got to be smarter and play for that first down on 2nd and 2 and work into closer FG on the next set of downs. We aren't a scoring juggernaut - play for points. We don't Pass Pro well, run the ball and keep out of third and long.

Not the play calling considering our talent on teh field perhaps. Mistakes by the OL and just getting beat at tackle. Dylan not have a special day so far. It is just brutal to watch. I'd take a one-point win in a heart beat..

Williams and Woodyard way over pursued on that one leaving the cutback wide open.

Would you take the twenty plus year build up before you get your title, or twenty years of misery with a quick two year turn around like Indiana got?

Weren't we just saying the defense was playing well? Ughhh....

I was surprised to see the field goal, but the way things were going, being up 10-0 is important.
