  2. 34-24 Ohio St 1 TO 1 Sack 225 Pass I'm going with Oregon's trend of losing every other game. Plus I don't have faith in Raiola yet.
  3. First and foremost, we need to not only win out but to blow out. Especially if we don't make the conference championship game. I think we make the playoffs if and only if we blow everybody out, including in the conference championship game. We have a lot of eye tests to overcome. The best eye test is to kick everybody's butt moving forward. We have to rely on teams and that is the biggest problem. We are out of control of the results that we need in order to reach the playoffs. Not trying to be a downer, just trying to be realistic. Fingers crossed.
  4. 30-27 Oregon 2 TO 3 sack 320 yp I think Oregon puts up 170+ yards on the ground. O line starts to solidify some dominance being the 3rd game with some continuity.
  5. 31-21 Ohio State 1 2 215 Unless we get continuous pressure on the Buckeyes (better than against NW), we won't stop them from scoring. Again, I hope I'm completely wrong about this, but I'm going with our recent history against the Elite. Until we break that cycle, and in this case, win by double digits, we will be considered a wanna be power. I hope I'm wrong. VERY WRONG
  6. 31-17 Ohio State 1 turnover 1 sack 212 yards passing tOSU will be as motivated this week as USC was last week and I haven’t seen Raiola string together consecutive good (or even unhorrible) games
  7. Winning out at 9-3 most likely gets us a 10 or 11 seed. I predict at least two 9-3 teams make the field this year. I’d actually rather not make the B1G championship game and take our chances with 9-3. Simplify…just win 😆

  9. In general, I distance myself away from negative people. There are already enough rival fans that enjoy seeing us fail, and implode. Every loss makes someone happy. At times, venting is therapeutic, I get it (I ran a few businesses, and one failed miserably). But, to move forward, and once again be successful takes tenacity, genuine commitment to detail, and perhaps a helping hand…Easier said than done. Vent when necessary, but at some point, it just becomes annoying noise.
  10. It is that time of the week again to have fun with our game prediction contest! Guesses on other threads don't count--only those here, and only those entries completely filled out with the tiebreakers are valid entries. Let's have fun with it as we have so many years in the past... Let me know: --Which team wins: --Score: --How many turnovers created by Oregon? --How many sacks of the opponent by Oregon? --How many passing yards by Oregon? My prediction of Oregon vs. Ohio State: Oregon 27-24 2 3 292

  17. Crazy year for sure. These same things are said in a half of football every Saturday. The receipts are in the 100's of game chats
  18. Oregon has lost every road game this season when wearing green and yellow.
  19. I I don’t consider myself a Nega duck, and I have spoken to Charles recently. I haven’t been posting much since last weekend because I ended up having to have surgery on a bone spur and it’s been four days in the hospital for me…
  20. Who is assuming UCLA wins out? They could lose their next four. Oregon should have tied them w/ Mehringer at OC. Min, Ill, Mi, USC Indy could lose two. USC, WA OSU after Or, has NW, Neb, Michigan. They won't lose 4, but could lose to any of those 4. They might not win all four. These games all have to be played. I think the Big 10 is going to be knocking each other off to the end. Could Oregon make it to the conf championship game with 3 conf losses? That is too much math for me to handle right now, but it might be possible. I am going to take a wild guess at the top half of the big 10 final records w/out checking my work: (just conf records) USC 7-2 Oregon 6-3 OSU 6-3 Indy 6-3 NW 5-4 UCLA 5-4 Min 5-4 Ill 5-4 I'm sure it won't be exactly this, but it could be this chaotic.
  21. Football is too fast of a game for a player to be limited and still play. A cast on the hand is one thing, but just about anything else is a liability. Let the next guy play. I don't want to see Dante play if he is still "foggy". I don't want to see Jordon run slow when we can see Brandon make his cuts. The backups have been practicing since early August. I have confidence in them, even the freshmen.
  22. I appreciate the levity. But they really looked like different teams each week. I mean they’ve started 4 different QBs: Moore, Thomas, Raiola, and Raiola’s inept twin brother.
  23. 2007 Re-Ducks, er, Redux? https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/50380000/2007-chaos-2026-season
  24. Preseason predicted to make it to finals game. Close call game 1 - it's OK, hey it happens. Boise St does this to a lot of teams and always plays Oregon tough. OK St - what a bunch of pretenders. Ptd St and USC - everything is still on the table and all looks good. UCLA - the season is over. Nebraska - they can still go to playoffs, just can't lose anymore games. Illinois - the low point, rock bottom, sucked down the toilet. The program has never done less with more. (which is probably true at that point) Northwestern - if these Big10 teams lose these key games, Oregon can still win the conference. The hype, both good and bad is way overblown. The talk will be way over the top whether Oregon beats OSU or doesn't. That much I am absolutely sure of.
  25. I dig these unis. I can see going away from the colors from time to time if they look good. And even when they go with official colors, there are some shades of green and yellow that I don't like. Candy apple green, canary yellow. All canary yellow. I'd rather see antifreeze helmets than that. The black with yellow is not good either. I still like the steel plates from the Dennis Dixon era. And I like the old white ones with the HUGE numbers. Also like the green/almost black from the LaMichael James days.
