2026 Football Poll Rankings
Coaches Poll The US LBM Coaches Poll is conducted weekly throughout the regular season using a panel of head coaches at Football Bowl Subdivision schools. The panel is chosen by random draw, conference by conference plus independents, from a pool of coaches who have indicated to the American Football Coaches Association their willingness to participate. Each coach submits a Top 25 with a first-place vote worth 25 points, second place 24, and so on down to one point for 25th. The Ducks are up two spots to No. 16 in the poll. After a shootout win on the road at Rutgers, the Trojans dropped one spot to No. 12. https://sportsdata.usatoday.com/football/ncaaf/coaches-poll 2026-27 US LBM Coaches Poll Top 25 Teams https://sportsdata.usatoday.com/football/ncaaf/coaches-poll

Ohio State: Hail Mary Up 28 to 0
The financials are too important to most FCS schools to stay afloat. If the FCS can get more televised games that might help. But the reality is that the only way tv can is if they play on a day that isn't Saturday or Sunday. Not many have interest to tune into a FCS game in the season when there are bigger FBS or NFL brands at play. FCS desperately need the money and these paid wompings don't just pay for their football programs but a large portion of their athletic budgets.

Marsh Duck - Quick Quack: Oregon vs PSU
He looks better with one hand right now than most of the others with two.

Marsh Duck - Quick Quack: Oregon vs PSU
Get his hand out of the club for starters. The second string line looked pretty good. They are clearly hungry for their chance.

Marsh Duck - Quick Quack: Oregon vs PSU
This might not mean much, but Matayo was in a class with a family member last Spring, they went around the room asking about their major and he was undeclared. My only comment is about commitment. He lacks something or is not that good to start with. Just an observation.

Who stepped up for the Ducks. Headline is misleading as there were no stock downs. Oregon football stock report after Week 3: Stock up, stock down SI thinks four Ducks saw stock drop. Ohio State: Hail Mary Up 28 to 0
I have no problem with teams executing until the final whistle. In fact, I would make the argument that none of Oregon’s backup QBs (and many other positions) were ready to play under Chip for this exact reason. Oregon would get to a point where they were comfortable, bring in the second string, but not run real offense. The result is that the players didn’t get “real” game snaps. I think the sportsmanship piece comes into play when you have the game won and you are still playing the starters. But if you pull everyone and the other team can’t stop your 4th sting QB and 5th string RB, then that’s on them. You owe it to your backups to get some real game experience under those circumstances. In this case, I have zero issue with the Hail Mary. There is an entire half of football left and you are only up 4 scores. Plus, as the OP stated, it is a great opportunity to practice a rare play. My other opinion in all of this is that a Power 4 team should never play an FCS school, but that is a whole other argument.

Marsh Duck - Quick Quack: Oregon vs PSU
Overall, pretty good showing. First of all, credit where credit is due. Drew called a nice game. I was quick to jump on him, but hopefully he has his legs under him now. RB room is legit with 5+ guys that could probably start on most teams. Especially impressed with Riggs, as he has some outstanding field vision. OL and DL still look like they both still need work. What is up with Mayato Uiagalelei?? He didn’t record a single stat against PSU. On that same note, what does Nasir Wyatt have to do to take that starting spot? Once again he had a few tackles, QB pressures, and batted a ball down. He is vastly improved against the run. His PFF grade so far this year would indicate he is one of the best players in the nation. What else does he need to do to take that starting edge job?

Dylan Raiola: Are You Thinking What I'm Thinking?
The Wall Street Journal reported this morning that a former walk-on quarterback at the University of Southern North Dakota noticed that Raiola taps his foot to the rhythm of "Shout" every time a pass play is called.

Rutgers Doing a Job on the Trojans
The Trojans play a totally different level of game at home. They are a very weak travel team. Oregon needs to clear its head and execute without errors. If it does it will win based on superior talent and execution. Which sounds like Indiana.

Depends on if you want to win.......if you want to be nice guys Dante will start.......if you want to win Dylan should be given his chance if the Ducks don't move it against USC by half time. Best game of the year so far. My son goes to Ole Miss and was at the game. He just called and said it was an unreal experience. I believe him after seeing it. My wife and I went to the Ole Miss v. Wazzu game last year. The grove was pretty cool but the stadium was dead. Not tonight.- LSU and Ole Miss
As Chambliss shredded the vaunted LSU defense throughout the first half, I thought maybe the boy should start perfecting his Heisman pose. But...as RB Lacy went down and LSU made halftime adjustments, the game tightened and became dicey, for the Rebs. And when they needed him most, Chambliss marched his team all the way down the field in a drive concluding with a16-yard QB bootleg for the game winner. He continually carries the team on his shoulders and is a marvel to watch. Great player!- Will Stein’s Kentucky Beat No. 9 Texas A&M…
