There an interesting arc when it comes to a sports narrative. If the spunky underdog starts winning over a period of seasons, they become the villain. The Patriots first Super Bowl was an underdog story. By the end of their run, they were an Evil Empire. Same with the Chiefs and Mahomes. We’ve been doing well for a long time now. We’re no longer the lovable underdog; we’re now the perennial underachievers. That seems to be the narrative anyway. The only way to deal with that is to block out the noise and just win, baby.

Kick field goal now. take 10 point lead. bring in Akili. This is insanity

Tough sledding when your punter is player of the week.

Weak schedule. We probably make a bowl and get practice for next yr,,,,,

We may have the best Defense and worst Offense in the B1G right now. It is what it is, and 7 points may be enough for us to win here

What's on the board just might be the final score. At this point I'll take it.

The D came to play.

Maybe maybe Barry Lenny wants a new job.

The O is almost as fun as watching paint dry.

Maybe defense will score... I just can not relate to this play calling.

Well we blow a gift with poor blocking and poor play calling...... This is just not good!

Terrible missed block by Fox Crader.

Never mind, I was hoping they'd figure out how to to run the ball against this defense but apparently not.

It's rough isn't it? Some of these plays should never be run outside peewee football. Why is it so hard to get Jamari one on one with a LB? Why do we have an empty backfield and 4 WRs next to the sideline? If you want to run a wildcat replace the QB with a blocker. I'm seeing the want to option out of it based on the look, but even that is stupid. It's really rough to watch.

That a good shot on 2nd and short

We can't get into any kind of offensive rhythm because the play calling is actively working against it!

RUN THE F'IN FOOTBALL!!!

It's not so much on the O Line? Offensive design and play calling are pathetic

Trick plays like that when we're playing a team that should be over-matched against us just smack of desperation. It feels like we just don't know how to get into any kind of regular offensive rhythm so we're dipping into a bag of tricks that we hope work.

Defense wins Championships 😂

Our D understands the assignment.

Defense is incredible...

Terrible play calling. We had the run game going on the first drive and now we have gone away from early down runs, got third and long and took a sack and fubmle.

Nice!!! Tatum is playing incredible!

Another series... And no even illusion to run the ball. Sorry they had one play that was a flee flicker that failed. I'm so done with this offense..
