  1. 4-3 Ducks after eight innings. Jonah Barkoff came in, walked two and was relieved by Devin Bell...who got another on base to load-them. A grounder scored one, and then he blew a 96 mph pitch to finish the inning. Gotta hold on!
  2. 4-2 Ducks after seven innings. Reliving Sanford was the usual Friday night starter, Collin Clarke. But Clark loaded the bases with one out, got a second out, and then was relieved by Luke Morgan, the Pride of Grants Pass, who got the third out and Oregon out of a jam. Whew!
  3. 4-2 Ducks after six innings. Wow...they brought Will Sanford in the for the sixth, and he got another 3-up and 3-down...but got some help from Jack Brooks in CF who caught a fly ball two feet above the wall to steal away a homer from the damn Trojans! Sanford is at 90 pitches...the seventh?
  4. 4-2 Oregon after five innings. When Will Sanford is on...watching him pitch is so much fun. He did the 3-up, 3-down again, and has put away 10 batters in a row! Yesterday, the Ducks stranded 10 runners in a game decided by one run...and now we just had a chance to expand the lead, but stranded two in scoring position.
  5. 4-2 Ducks after four innings! Will Sanford got his control back as he dispensed with the Trojans again...1-2-3. Ryan Cooney hit a grounder that should have been routine out at first base, but an overthrow got him to second. A groundout moves Cooney to third, and Drew Smith walks. Then Brayden Jaksa was sitting...waiting on the curve/drop-ball, got under it and lifted it high, and over the wall in LF and into the opposing bullpen. A three-run homer! Then Naulivou Lauaki does the same thing; he sees the curve coming, gets under it and crushes it over the CF wall! Finally...got the bats going, and the crowd loves it.
  6. 2-0 USC after three innings. Sanford had a great inning, but the Oregon batters have no answer for the damn Trojan pitcher.
  7. 2-0 USC after two innings. Oregon's Will Sanford gave up a leadoff triple, and the batter on third was sacrificed in to get a run. Then he gave up more hits, and another run. Meanwhile the opposing pitcher has mowed six straight Duck batters down.... Lovely.
  8. 0-0 after one inning. Oregon's Will Sanford did a wonderful 3-up, 3-down....problem is the the Trojan pitcher did the same thing.
  9. It is only fitting that the last FishDuck.com article published is created by our own Jon Joseph. As always, it is chock-full of information and an interesting read. Good research, and good points made in the article...THANK YOU Jon! This is officially the last article to be published on FishDuck.com before the sale, but after the sale....articles will continue to be published, only at the new address of www.discussobd.com and we will proceed with our writers as before. (If there are surprises here to you--read the Pinned Posts at the top of the forum to get valuable information so you can find the forum next week after the sale) Onward!
  10. Four new Big Ten head coaches come on board in 2026: Long-time Utah HC Kyle Whittingham at Michigan; long-time Northwestern HC Pat Fitzgerald at Michigan State; long-time Iowa State HC Matt Campbell at Penn State; and Bob Chesney, a coach with terrific success at undercard college football (CFB) programs, takes over at UCLA. To Reach Their Goals, Football Coaches Need an Assist
  11. Amen Duck-Brother! The site will change the redirect when the sale is made on Monday or Tuesday to https://discussobd.com/ In the meantime it comes back to forum.fishduck.com until the sale is made. As long as people write it down and then when they get nothing from their bookmark or favorites (after the sale) they place https://discussobd.com/ into their URL address area--they will then find the forum. Takes seven seconds...
  12. USC wins 2-1 in eleven innings. We gave up a solo homer, and then had our chances with bases loaded and one out...but their reliever got it done
  13. 1-1 after ten innings. Oregon's Tanner Bradley put them down 1-2-3 again, but the superb reliever for USC did the same to us.
  14. The game is tied 1-1 after nine innings. Tanner Bradley came in again for a routine 1-2-3 inning for Our Beloved Ducks! Naulivou Lauaki absolutely blasted a pitch WAY over the RF wall to tie it up! To extra innings we go!
  15. 1-0 USC after eight innings. Tanner Bradley comes in to pitch for Our Beloved Ducks, and had bases loaded against him, but got out of it with a big strikeout. Good gosh, the Trojan relievers are as good as the starter...damn.
  16. 1-0 USC after seven innings. Oregon's Toby Twist blew them away in another 1-2-3 inning. And the Ducks strand two on base again. Gotta break through!
  17. 1-0 USC after six innings. Oregon reliever Toby Twist took over on the hill, and dispensed of the batters 1-2-3. Their pitcher is pretty amazing, and has a dozen strikeouts!
  18. 1-0 USC after five innings. Cal Scolari generated a grounder, and the double-play was sweet to watch from the infielders.
  19. No. We will not have a new website; it will be the same forum with a different web address. www.discussobd.com No re-registering.
  20. 1-0 USC after four innings. This is quite a pitching exhibition from both teams...
  21. 1-0 USC after three innings. Oregon's Cal Scolari put them down 1-2-3... But the Ducks stranded two on base again!
  22. 1-0 USC after two innings. Oregon's Cal Scolari gave up two hits and they got a run off of it. Mason Edwards, the Trojan pitcher throws really nasty stuff. Geez.
  23. 0-0 after one inning. In the pregame interview, Coach Waz stated that he wanted Will Sanford to remain on a seven-day rest schedule, so Cal Scolari is tonight's starter. He was sick about three weeks ago, and has gradually worked his way back. In this first inning--he allowed a walk at full-count, but struck out two with a fastball up to 97 mph, with a curve that drops to 81 mph. Looks sharp to start! On offense...the Ducks stranded two on base!
  24. I am surprised, but quite relieved at still having the articles. As I wrote above...Monday or Tuesday....
  25. I think it is pretty simple; Our Beloved Ducks win the series and have a high-probability chance of hosting a NCAA Baseball Regional. Anything less makes them a No. 2 Seed who travels. The Trojans has an excellent pitching staff--regardless of who they trot out to the hill. Most would say theirs is slightly better than ours, and I agree with that, but we have the home field which is HUGE with so much on the line for both teams. Oregon's usual Friday starter, Will Sanford, (the games were moved up to a Thursday-Saturday schedule this week) has had some rough outings lately, and we need him at his best tonight. Where There is a Will... ...There is a Way?
