Not the play calling considering our talent on teh field perhaps. Mistakes by the OL and just getting beat at tackle. Dylan not have a special day so far. It is just brutal to watch. I'd take a one-point win in a heart beat..

ESPN radio announcers making some telling observations about Raiola, footwork, coaches lack of confidence in him?

After an 11-play opening drive with runs of 3, 11, 5, 8, then back-to-back runs of 1 and the 2-yard TD run. We were averaging 5 yards a pop and had set the tone with the OL at the LOS.

Then we wasted our 2nd, 3rd and 4th drives with going pass heavy and getting behind the chains.

We wasted our 5th drive by poor play calls as well. We were 2nd and 2 right at deep FG range, run the ball and get the first down, don't take the deep shot. Then we go big and congest the defense and miss an assignment, then miss a 52-yard FG. We got to be smarter and play for that first down on 2nd and 2 and work into closer FG on the next set of downs.

We aren't a scoring juggernaut - play for points.

We don't Pass Pro well, run the ball and keep out of third and long.

I too can be a subpar coach. I will only charge 250k to scheme poorly and I also offer to not develop 4 and 5 star talent at no extra charge. Right?

The play calling is killing us. We have rushing 137-yards on 21 carries for 6.4 yards a pop. We need to run it 30 times this half at least.

Oh great. Now the Illinois defense is fired up. I hope this game serves as a wake up call.

I don't have the words for this play calling. It is hard to watch. I knew that last play was a screen before they snapped it.

No idea of the point for that weird trick play. Stacking up all those guys over to the left didn't do squat.
