  2. Who stepped up for the Ducks. Headline is misleading as there were no stock downs. Oregon football stock report after Week 3: Stock up, stock down SI thinks four Ducks saw stock drop. Only two not counting injured Johnson and McClellan. Eight Oregon Ducks Rising and Falling After Historic Win Over Portland State
  3. I have no problem with teams executing until the final whistle. In fact, I would make the argument that none of Oregon’s backup QBs (and many other positions) were ready to play under Chip for this exact reason. Oregon would get to a point where they were comfortable, bring in the second string, but not run real offense. The result is that the players didn’t get “real” game snaps. I think the sportsmanship piece comes into play when you have the game won and you are still playing the starters. But if you pull everyone and the other team can’t stop your 4th sting QB and 5th string RB, then that’s on them. You owe it to your backups to get some real game experience under those circumstances. In this case, I have zero issue with the Hail Mary. There is an entire half of football left and you are only up 4 scores. Plus, as the OP stated, it is a great opportunity to practice a rare play. My other opinion in all of this is that a Power 4 team should never play an FCS school, but that is a whole other argument.
  4. Overall, pretty good showing. First of all, credit where credit is due. Drew called a nice game. I was quick to jump on him, but hopefully he has his legs under him now. RB room is legit with 5+ guys that could probably start on most teams. Especially impressed with Riggs, as he has some outstanding field vision. OL and DL still look like they both still need work. What is up with Mayato Uiagalelei?? He didn’t record a single stat against PSU. On that same note, what does Nasir Wyatt have to do to take that starting spot? Once again he had a few tackles, QB pressures, and batted a ball down. He is vastly improved against the run. His PFF grade so far this year would indicate he is one of the best players in the nation. What else does he need to do to take that starting edge job?
  5. The Wall Street Journal reported this morning that a former walk-on quarterback at the University of Southern North Dakota noticed that Raiola taps his foot to the rhythm of "Shout" every time a pass play is called.
  6. The Trojans play a totally different level of game at home. They are a very weak travel team. Oregon needs to clear its head and execute without errors. If it does it will win based on superior talent and execution. Which sounds like Indiana.
  7. The stage is set for a season-defining game between Oregon, USCWith both teams needing a statement win over the other in the worst way possible. The stage is set for the Oregon Ducks and the USC Trojans in Week 4, a game poised to be one of the most impactful in this rivalry's recent history. https://duckswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/college/ducks/football/2026/09/19/oregon-football-usc-trojans-week-4-season-defining-matchup/91852534007/

  11. Depends on if you want to win.......if you want to be nice guys Dante will start.......if you want to win Dylan should be given his chance if the Ducks don't move it against USC by half time. If Rutgers can hang 35 on them......at the half we should have 24.
  12. UGA called the Hogs to slaughter! GameDay in Athens for the Oklahoma game? Watch out for Mississippi State? The other Bulldogs defeated South Carolina 41 - 34. 16. Which Ole Miss did. I feel so bad for Lame. 😁
  17. Best game of the year so far. My son goes to Ole Miss and was at the game. He just called and said it was an unreal experience. I believe him after seeing it. My wife and I went to the Ole Miss v. Wazzu game last year. The grove was pretty cool but the stadium was dead. Not tonight.
  18. As Chambliss shredded the vaunted LSU defense throughout the first half, I thought maybe the boy should start perfecting his Heisman pose. But...as RB Lacy went down and LSU made halftime adjustments, the game tightened and became dicey, for the Rebs. And when they needed him most, Chambliss marched his team all the way down the field in a drive concluding with a16-yard QB bootleg for the game winner. He continually carries the team on his shoulders and is a marvel to watch. Great player!
  19. Stein's team played quite credibly against Bama the week before. He's done a fine job thus far and my hat's off to him.
  20. Could part of the poise be related to the brutal pressure of playing at Nebraska?
  21. He’s accurate and not afraid to throw into tight windows and throw receivers open. IMO, you have a higher probability of explosive plays with him in the game, but maybe also a higher risk of turnovers. Good news that they have their QB for next season.
  22. aTm is overrated. Kentucky might be underrated. Stein got a huge win. Good start for sure
  23. Me too. I did not watch him play at all at Nebraska, and when he was announced as transferring to Oregon… I was very “Meh,” about it. But I saw the very accurate poised quarterback on Saturday…
  24. Maybe he didn’t suck as much as some here thought? Was the Oregon offense BETTER under him? And this is only his first year at Kentucky? I’m glad he is in the SEC, and not in our conference…
  25. Both quarterbacks were incredibly dynamic .
  26. Was never really impressed with the bits and pieces I saw of him at Nebraska. He looked good last night. 11-11? I feel like I owe him an apology.
