It makes sense that the run game would suffer with a new O line and injured Backs

I think Oregon is putting up number close to top 10 offensively. I could be wrong though. This O line is very young and has made good progress through 4 games. They played 3 top 25 ranked teams so far and being 2-1 with new Coordinators and a new o line isn't too bad. They have also lost the best TE in the country for a bit, a dude at WR, their best RB is dinged up and the starting QB is out. The D played a top 10 Offense in USC and did a good job imo. Safeties are horrible tho. Held a high power O to 2-11 on 3rd down and under 30 points. Held the run game to about 3.5 yard per. Played much better than last year in redzone D. The corners had chunks of lockdown play in pivitol parts of the game late. AW is banged up and hasn't played like we expect from A. Washington. The massive adversity in the second Q was pivitol. Thought this team handled it very well. Could be a turning point for this team. Dan didn't seem to happy Wed. I don't think they are practicing well and its showing up in games. Whatever it is I hope they get it fixed because they have a ton of talent. And like you said, they are performing like a #15 with #1talent

Perhaps this will hurt sUc a little, prob not though. No impact on the Ducks imo. Bruins might get a little bump. If any recruit get turned off of sUc they will probably bounce to one of the modern blue bloods.

There are a lot of great points here. It's obvious DR is a dog. I made the comment a couple weeks ago that DR is a better "football" player. Last Saturday only proved my claim. I think it's pretty early to declare that DR gives Oregon a better chance to win. He looked good v. a pathetic SC defense that had no game prep for a backup qb. DR will probably have a few games to prove himself. I think DM is better at protecting the ball and DR will put the ball in harms way more often. I am not ready to throw Donte under the bus after he took a nasty hit and severe head injury. 2 q's of play is way too soon. Donte is a top 2 or 3 QB and DR... IDK

Dylan is a good player. Maybe even great. His style of play will create highlights and "C'mon mans". Donte is still the better QB. Not by much though. Donte has earned his role. Probably the #1 arm talent in the college game. He is possibly the #1 draft pick next year. He took this team to the semi last year then came back to finish what he started. The O line is starting to come along. Receivers aren't dropping balls. RB are getting better at pass pro. Donte is starting to use his feet a little better. Make no mistake, Donte is the QB. And there are a lot more reason he should be than not. Oregons struggles early aren't on Donte but most of the burden is. The QB room at Oregon is amazing and the future is set up as good as ever. I wonder who the next stud QB transfer will be.

I am not sure this is a Riley problem. USC seems to have issues much deeper than LR. Riley is just the face in front of the sports world. Sark was at USC, fired, now has Texas sitting at #1. Kiffen, fired, built Ole Miss and will take LSU to the top. OK Kiffen is a bad example of character but has teams winning is my point. Riley had Okie in the PO multiple years and was loved across the sport. I think this goes way deeper than the coach. Unfortunately for Riley, he got that sUc cancer on him. LR should get on the next train out of town. No matter the cost. Rebuild his name and never look back. sUc is a trash school. They are desperate and in that desperation they will destroy everyone and everything around them.

Yea, BSU and Okie State getting ranked changes perception. A ranked ucla next game would make it 4 of 5 opening games v. ranked opponents. but what gets focused on is how shameful it is to schedule Portland State.

Check out the pass pro from the RBs. I haven't rewatched but it seemed they took a step up from last year.

I think the talent on the O line is very high quality imo. They just lack experience. This game saw them grow a ton. Especially post Moore injury. The running game is starting to pop and zero sacks surrendured. This team changed yesterday. And the O line is a huge part of that.

Makes me sick. I don't want to lose my love for College football. I also don't want to support an organization that turns a blind eye to the behavior we saw yesterday across the sport

I am thoroughly disgusted with the antics on the field yesterday in college football. We are all well informed about the Moore situation. Added to the disgusting play and celebration were the fans in the stands fighting and the clash between sUc players clashing with Oregon players in the tunnel after the game. We had punches thrown in the Bama v South Carolina game with no flag thrown Sacs celebrated with mimicking machine gun fire and urinating on the player. This is getting out of hand and people will/are getting seriously hurt. This needs to stop now.

Lincoln Riley is compleat trash. He has surpassed Kiffen as the most hated coach in college football. Absolute dirt bag.

There were flashes at each level. Was nice to see the db lock down chunks of plays in the 4th. Also redzone D was much improved from last year.
