Oregon Husks Nebraska in B1G Baseball Tournament Semi-Final, 8-0
That should do it I think to hosting a regional. A very impressive showing today in both games.

Ducks Suing Dakota Fields for $39K.
Look....if players want to sue willy-nilly because they don't like a rule, or they got their feelings hurt, then I have no problems with the university suing any of these players for things like this.

Oregon Beats USC 6-5 on a Suicide Squeeze in the 14th Inning!
Two wins and I think we get a regional, one win and I think it’s around 35-40% chance we get it, 0 wins we have very little shot of getting a regional

Two Ducks Football Games Moved to Fridays
I always appreciate a few night games a season, it provides a unique atmosphere compared to day games. Friday games though are not appreciated since it cuts into high school football and it's difficult for some to attend on a weekday.

Not the Start Oregon Wanted as No. 1 UCLA Run-Rules Ducks, 11-1 After Seven Innings
Huge series, hoping we can take 2 out three, but it will be a big ask. Might come down to if we can hold a lead late.

Jon Joseph: A Wager on the 2026 Domers to go Over 10.5 Wins is Golden
Put me down for 11-1, they'll lose a game that shouldn't. I actually don't mind Notre Dame overall at this point. Probably because they have a coach that I actually like in Freeman. Their AD on the other hand is a whiner who should be forced to choose a conference to join.

Oregon’s 2026 Offensive Line: Dan Lanning’s Quietest Masterpiece?
It will be the tackles that will determine if the line improves or not. If Fox Crader and either Bennett, Rodgers, or Iheanacho are a step up from last year. Interior will be very good I think, veterans are NFL players, and the other guard spot will have enough talented contenders that I'm not worried about it.

Offensive Wish List for the 2026 Ducks
He'll get some time, but it will be a lot to ask for him to start. If he does I think it will be at RT instead of Moore's blindside.

Offensive Wish List for the 2026 Ducks
That's where I am with him. The arm, the mechanics, the anticipation, all of that is there for him, but let's be honest, he panicked multiple times against the best defenses we faced. To his credit he also stood strong at times when he was needed (Penn St. and Iowa).

Offensive Wish List for the 2026 Ducks
It always starts with the O-line. The tackles were not at the level that you need to win a national championship last year. Harkey and World were okay, but they struggled against the elite defenses. World in particular was a disappointment honestly with how much people were talking about his potential. Harkey was always going to be a player who was fine but wasn't what you would expect from a truly great offense. The hope obviously is that Crader and Bennett provide better protection. Crader in particular has the potential to be very good in pass-pro. It wouldn't hurt if Pancho and Iuli take the next step as well. Our WRs could be special, Johnson is a very good TE, Olesh was a extremely highly recruited TE coming into the year last year, Harrison could be special. The RBs have the best power/speed combo that we've had in a long time. The QB has the tools (I'm more down on him than most, but I can see what others see). It's all there for a championship caliber offense, only question is really the tackles in my opinion.

Oregon Lands Arizona Transfer Forward Dwayne Aristode
I will have my doubts until I see it. The Payne pick up gives me some pause since it looks like another guy who played for bad teams, was able to put up a lot of shots, pretty much a slasher who isn't a good shooter. I guess he has some scoring potential though/. Aristode though has a lot of potential, he could be very good.

NCAA Tournament Expanded to 76 Teams in Men's and Women's Basketball
Sources: NCAA basketball tournaments set to move to 76 teams I'll be honest I don't see the need for this, if you can't make it in a tournament that has 68 teams, you simply don't deserve to be there. I would be okay with this if it only involves non-big 4 conference teams, I would much rather watch teams that came in 2nd in their league than the 11th best B1G team or the 9th best Big 12 teams.

Ducks FEAST on Beavis Errors to Win 7-3 in Corvallis!
Big win! Need as many ranked wins as possible. Need to get a sweep now against the Nittany Lions in order to bank wins and keep the momentum going.

Oregon Men’s Basketball Roster
Maybe, sometimes you can get by with that sort of talent, it takes a lot of buy in from the players, you need to get a bit lucky with development, and finding diamonds in the rough. I'm not sure if this is a Dana problem, a staff problem, or a NIL problem. Whatever it is, I think there's a good chance we have a new coach in charge by the start of the 27/28 season. I love Altman, but this is not looking good right now.

Oregon Men’s Basketball Roster
Top 100 transfer Portal Player Rankings Kind of says it all. One player (99th) in the entire top 100 for a team that needs as much talent as possible. That isn't going to get it done. I expect a similar if not worse season considering we're losing 3 legit starters.

QUAAAACCK!! Will Mencl IS A DUCK!
Maybe, hard to say, maybe depends on how he has progressed this spring/fall.

Oregon Moves Up to No. 15 in the Nation with Interesting D1Baseball Comments...
I think this team actually has more potential since it looks like right now there is a bit more depth in pitching, we aren't seeing as many wild scores, the offense isn't quite what it's been in the past, but it isn't inept either. Not as dependent on the long ball. I really hope we can win some of those series against the ranked teams so that we might have the chance to host.

Ducks Late Scoring Barrage Blasts San Diego 12-4!
That's a big three game series against a very good team, great opportunity to pick up some wins against a team that should be in the tourney, we don't get much of them in the Big 10, biggest games are of course going to be against UCLA and USC.

Report: Shelstad to Portal
Could be, personally I still maintain that a huge problem is the non-focus on a actual college environment and the focus on crap like fan-cams and the like. Students are atrocious at this point in terms of their participation, it's such a long way from the pit crew of yesteryear. All of this has contributed to an environment at games where you don't feel like it's worth it to attend. I'm a huge fan of college basketball, so these last few years have been hugely frustrating, it hurts to see Dana struggling like this with mediocre to bad players. I'm sure this is the end, either it's this year or next. Altman deserves better I think, but that's the way it goes.

Report: Shelstad to Portal
Donors just don't care about basketball, Altman is still a good coach I think, but he just doesn't have the talent to compete. I don't blame Evans and Shelstad jumping ship, I'm sure they want to win and there are probably better opportunities elsewhere. Probably going to Dana's last year if he doesn't decide to retire.

Kelly Graves Loses First Oregon Ducks Player to Transfer Portal
That's a tough loss, hopefully they can bring in some impact transfers to join a pretty good freshman group along with Fiso and Etute.

Oregon Run-Rules Northwestern in the 7th Inning, 20-6!
Safe to say Oregon had their bats going today😂

Way to Go Ducks! (Womens Basketball)
Just need to bring in some talents to match Fiso and Etute, but those two are a really impressive duo.

Oregon's Next Opponent... The Northwestern Wildcats
I've been pleased with how Oregon has played so far, it's such a tough situation for Oregon since they play so few actually respected teams in the B1G. Our non-con isn't bad it's also not super impressive either, so it makes every game so much more important since you don't get a lot of leeway if you lose a game here and there against teams like Northwestern or really anyone other than UCLA/USC/UW. We're really going to need to win some of those games against the California teams to get a home regional. Also I'm sorry to ask this, but do you mean the NU have a 6.80 ERA and Oregon has a 3.12 ERA?

Oregon, USC and Washington Not Ready For B1G Ten Basketball
With those injuries I just don't think many coaches would have success. I would challenge anyone to find a program more snake bitten than Oregon when it comes to it. You're talking about a lot of the best players on those teams, multiple starters at a time. This is the only year where I feel like we just didn't have the talent to compete. Time after time Dana would have to figure it out, and he usually did to the extant of getting the team to 20 wins, this season is the first where the team had no chance of going anywhere. Last season was derailed by some players going into the biggest slumps of their careers, if TJ Bamba just has an average shooting year for himself, that team wins about 3-5 more games in the regular season, nobody could have predicted him having the shooting slump he had after 4 very consistent years in two different programs.
